Tlacalula Pink
Tlacalula Pink. This Aztec variety is an indeterminate plant which bears small to medium size tomatoes that are very flavorful. The predominate shape is like a pouch. It has one of the most complex flavors I have ever tasted in a tomato. I almost want to say there is a hint of floral. Makes an interesting addition to summer salads, sandwiches and home made fresh salsa...especially mixed with red, white, yellow, pink, and black tomatoes. What's so special about heirloom tomatoes? The idea that an heirloom is a variety that has been grown by generations and passed down from person to person is really very fascinating.

Check back about weekly. That's when I have a chance to add more tomatoes. I plan on featuring all the varieties I have.
